An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of Early-Medieval or Medieval date. Only part of the frame and part of the pin survives, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn. The buckle is undecorated, oval in section and D-shaped in form. It measures 12.44mm in length, 15.95mm in width, 2.69m in thickness, 1.11g in weight. The pin is a flattened D-shape in section with a flat back and rounded front face. The front face is decorated with a series of transverse grooves.
