An incomplete and broken pair of copper alloy tweezers, possibly of Roman or Early Medieval date. The tweezers are in two parts: one arm is complete with the curved loop, while the other has some length missing towards the loop end. The intact arm, and therefore the tweezers when complete, has a length of 58.58, with the broken arm measuring only 39.07mm. At the tip of each arm the gripping edge is bent inwards at a 90 degree angle. From this end towards the loop the arms taper from 7.14mm in width to 2.68mm in width. The tweezers are undecorated and weigh 4.49g.

An incomplete and bent undecorated pair of copper-alloy tweezers of probable Roman or Early Medieval date. Only part of one arm survives, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn. It is flat and rectangular with a slightly expanded base. At the top the arm narrows before terminating in old breaks. This fragment measures 15.54mm in length before bending, 3.53mm in width at the top of the arm, 4.26mm in width at the base of the arm, 0.74mm in thickness, 0.50g in weight. There is a similar example recorded on the PAS database (SF-AB64B6).

An incomplete, worn and slightly bent pair of copper-alloy tweezers of Roman or Early Medieval date. Only one arm survives, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn. It is flat, triangular in form and flaring to a slightly expanded terminal that turns inwards at an angle of nearly 90 degrees. The front face is decorated with at least two sets of three transverse grooves. The back face is undecorated.
