Two medieval sheet copper alloy dagger chapes, 15th century:
- badly distorted lower part only, with overlapping seam, extant length 45mm.
- overlapping seam, open base and level top. Below the top there is an encircling row of seven round holes above a single hole of the same size on the reverse and above a band of eleven punched dots between a pair of fine engraved lines on the front and sides. Below these the front is decorated with a cruciform arrangement of five round holes. Length 54mm. Width 18mm.
