An incomplete, worn and slightly bent pair of copper-alloy tweezers of Roman or Early Medieval date. Only one arm survives, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn.
It is flat, triangular in form and flaring to a slightly expanded terminal that turns inwards at an angle of nearly 90 degrees. The front face is decorated with at least two sets of three transverse grooves. The back face is undecorated.
This arm measures 34.85mm in length, 7.05mm in width at the top, 3.51mm in width at the terminal, 1.36mm in thickness, 1.85g in weight.
