An incomplete copper alloy Iron Age to Roman strip brooch dating to AD 25-75. The pin is missing. One of the wings is damaged. The remaining tubular wing span measures 9.25mm in width with a diameter of c. 2.51mm. The head measures 16.84mm in width and features a central V-shaped pin slot. The pin slot measures 1.99mm at the widest point and 3.76mm in length. The bow extends back from the head and measures 8.94mm in width then tapers to the foot which measures 4.97mm in width.
