An Iron Age copper alloy potin, dating 100-50 BC. This is a Class I potin being circular with a rectangular tab projecting on one side. The obverse depicts a stylised bust, formed of three crescents forming the head and nose, with a ring and dot motif in the centre for the eye. None of the crescents meet. On the reverse is a bull, butting left, with a line below and two crescents above. There appears to be a pellet underneath and connected to the body of the bull. Early Medieval copper alloy bow brooch fragment, 45mm long, 35mm wide and 4mm thick. The brooch is in fair condition and weighs 24.37grams. The surface patina is odd with green, brown and sooty corrosion, perhaps suggesting the object has been exposed to fire? A Post Medieval copper alloy strap fitting for a sword belt, dating to the early 17th century. This example is composed of the plate, which tapers from the top to the hook. Attached to the hook is a copper alloy ring. The ring has only been crudely finished with a fragment of copper alloy attached where it was attached to the adjoining ring during the manufacturing process. A Post Medieval iron hooked mount or escutcheon, dating to the 16th century. The object is ovoid in shape with a small rounded projection at the widest end and a hook projecting from the narrowest end. There are two rivet holes, one at either end of the plate, both of which have the heads of the rivet and part of the shanks still in situ.
