A copper-alloy British coin weight of Post-Medieval date. It is square in form, trapezoidal in cross section and has marks of value on both faces. These comprise the crowned value XVs, flanked by single fleur de lis, within an inner beaded circle. The opposite face has a central rose from which radiate arms terminting in alternating lions and lis, all within an inner circle. It measures 14.46mm in length, 14.55mm in width, 4.18mm in thickness, and 5.97g (92.2 grains) in weight. This is a worn British coin weight. A complete but very worn copper-alloy Early-Medieval strap end of G Thomas Class A. It is flat. The attachment end is split and contains two separately cast copper-alloy rivets with flattened round heads. The front face of the attachment end is possibly decorated with a fan shaped motif but it is now too worn to be certain. Beneath this is a rectangular recessed panel.
