Early Medieval copper alloy bow brooch fragment, 45mm long, 35mm wide and 4mm thick. The brooch is in fair condition and weighs 24.37grams. The surface patina is odd with green, brown and sooty corrosion, perhaps suggesting the object has been exposed to fire? The 'square' portion of the brooch is incomplete and appears to house the scar of a catchplate on its reveres, which would make it the 'flat' panel below the bow. A flint blade of Mesolithic to Neolithic date (c. 7000 - 3501 BC). The ventral surface of the blade exhibits a small bulb of percussion, indicating soft hammer working. The dorsal surface exhibits six negative flake removal scars. There is no sign of retouch. The flint is a mottled mid-light grey in colour. The balde measures 56.52mm in length, 16.45mm maximum width, 7.03mm minimum width, is 5.51mm thick and weighs 4.18g.

The remaining tubular wing span measures 9.25mm in width with a diameter of c. 2.51mm. The head measures 16.84mm in width and features a central V-shaped pin slot. A middle Bronze Age flint core dating to the period c. 1600 - 1001 BC. The core is conical in shape and has at least two platforms. It has been struck from a number of angles and exhibits a substantial degree of fracturing. The flint itself is a mottled dark grey shading to off-white and has a high degree of inclusions. The core retains c. 30% cortex. The core measures 81.87mm in length, 70.82mm maximum width, 1.49mm minimum width and weighs 246.77g.

Medieval copper alloy mount cast in the form of a sexfoil with a central round aperture. The edges are chamfered and the reverse is flat. The centre of each foil is decorated with a punched dot. A heavy-duty piece (weight 13.05g) whose aperture seems too large (diameter 11mm) to have been involved in attachment. Diameter 32mm. Thickness 3.2mm. No close parallel noted. 13th - 15th century.

Two medieval sheet copper alloy dagger chapes, 15th century: - badly distorted lower part only, with overlapping seam, extant length 45mm. - overlapping seam, open base and level top. Below the top there is an encircling row of seven round holes above a single hole of the same size on the reverse and above a band of eleven punched dots between a pair of fine engraved lines on the front and sides. Below these the front is decorated with a cruciform arrangement of five round holes. Length 54mm. Width 18mm.

A severely double-struck Medieval short cross penny of Henry III. Probably Class 7b, dating from c. AD 1222-c. 1236. Uncertain moneyer. Probably Canterbury mint. Cf. An Iron Age copper alloy potin, dating 100-50 BC. This is a Class I potin being circular with a rectangular tab projecting on one side. The obverse depicts a stylised bust, formed of three crescents forming the head and nose, with a ring and dot motif in the centre for the eye. None of the crescents meet. On the reverse is a bull, butting left, with a line below and two crescents above. There appears to be a pellet underneath and connected to the body of the bull. A late Neolithic flint axehead roughout dating to the period c. 2700 - 2351 BC. The axehead is lenticular in shape, with a slight curve along its length. It has one convex surface. It has been bifacially flaked and retains c. 15% cortex. It has a thin butt and thickens markely along its length to the section which retains cortex. The flint exhibits a number of flaws. It is a mottled mid-light grey. The axehead measures 126.34mm in length, 53.33mm maximum width, 27.84mm minimum width, is 45.37mm thick and weighs 268.23g.
