An incomplete and bent undecorated pair of copper-alloy tweezers of probable Roman or Early Medieval date. Only part of one arm survives, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn. It is flat and rectangular with a slightly expanded base. At the top the arm narrows before terminating in old breaks. This fragment measures 15.54mm in length before bending, 3.53mm in width at the top of the arm, 4.26mm in width at the base of the arm, 0.74mm in thickness, 0.50g in weight. There is a similar example recorded on the PAS database (SF-AB64B6).

The object is formed of a solid cast polyhedral shape with a small rounded projection on one end and an open flaring shank projecting below.
