A fragment from a possible palstave of Middle Bronze Age date. It is rectangular with a prominent stop ridge and flattened sub-rectangular panels to either side which terminate in old breaks. On each outer edge are possible traces of a casting seam, but this is uncertain due to the preservation of the object. Some surfaces display evidence of burning. This possible palstave measures 27.24mm in length, 17.55mm in width, 14.25mm in thickness, 16.42g in weight.
