Grey semi-translucent flint with cloudy patches of patina possible leaf arrowhead. Thin flake of irregular rhomboid form with covering low angle scalar parallel retouch on its dorsal side and ripples on the ventral. This falls between the curved leaf form and the angular very finely finished points of the later Neolithic, of which the quality of this example falls far short. Suggested date: Neolithic, 4000-2350 BC. Length: 34mm, Width: 22.4mm, Thickness: 2.3mm, Weight: 1.80gms.
