A late Neolithic flint axehead roughout dating to the period c. 2700 - 2351 BC. The axehead is lenticular in shape, with a slight curve along its length. It has one convex surface. It has been bifacially flaked and retains c. 15% cortex. It has a thin butt and thickens markely along its length to the section which retains cortex. The flint exhibits a number of flaws. It is a mottled mid-light grey. The axehead measures 126.34mm in length, 53.33mm maximum width, 27.84mm minimum width, is 45.37mm thick and weighs 268.23g.
