An incompete cast copper-alloy cooking vessel leg/foot of medieval to post-Medieval date, circa 1200-1650 . The leg fragment consists of a splayed and angled base with a prominent central ridge. In section, the base is sub-triangular,with a flat back and tapered sides. The top is very worn at the break and with the patina suggests this is not a recent break.There is evidence of sooting and the object has a green patina with some soil impaction. Height: 57.30 mm. Width: 59.14 mm. Thickness: 25.41 mm. Weight: 236 grams. Reference see DOR-DCE8C5 for a similar example.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy cooking vessel leg/foot from the Medieval to post-Medieval periods, circa 1200-1650 . The leg fragment consists of a thickened and splayed foot with a vertical central ridge. In section, the base is sub-oval, the top is roughly D-shaped, with the ridge to the back of the D. The break has a degraded green/brown patina which matches the other surfaces,suggesting this is not a recent break.There is evidence of sooting at the base of the leg. Height: 57.93 mm.
