An incomplete cast copper-alloy cooking vessel leg/foot from the Medieval to post-Medieval periods, circa 1200-1650 . The leg fragment consists of a thickened and splayed foot with a vertical central ridge. In section, the base is sub-oval, the top is roughly D-shaped, with the ridge to the back of the D. The break has a degraded green/brown patina which matches the other surfaces,suggesting this is not a recent break.There is evidence of sooting at the base of the leg. Height: 57.93 mm. An incomplete Medieval to Post Medieval cast copper alloy double-looped buckle (c.1350-1650). The pin is missing. The frame is convex at the front and flat at the rear. Each loop is oval in plan and similar in size and each loop is bevelled internally at the front. The narrowed bar is triangular in cross-section and has iron staining at the centre. This frame is corroded and has traces of a dark green patina. The buckle is 29.51 mm in length, 26.31 mm wide, 3.08 mm thick and weighs 5.3 grams. Similar buckles have been published and dated c.1350-1650 (Whitehead 1996, p.53).

A complete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy furniture fitting in the form of a keyhole escutcheon (c. 1600-c. 1750). This escutcheon is roughly heart-shaped in plan, flat at the front and partially flat at the rear. It has a keyhole shaped aperture at the centre and two ear-like projections at the top. On the rear face are two integral spikes or rivets, one either side of the aperture. This escutcheon is corroded and drab green with iron staining on the rear face. An incomplete Medieval sheet copper-alloy buckle plate and wire pin (c. 1230-c. 1400). This buckle plate is folded widthways and is recessed for the frame which is missing. The front plate is rectangular with a straight attachment end and the back plate is smaller, incomplete and tapers to the attachment end. The plates have a circular hole for the pin rather than a slot. At the front there are semi-circular punch marks forming a double rectangular border. A medieval, cast copper-alloy strap distributor. The object consists of a flat ring with four, thickened, triangular wedges integrally cast around the circumference in a symmetrical pattern, creating recesses between them and an openwork cross shape in the centre. The recesses would each originally have held a sheet metal strap attachment loop. The reverse is flat.
