An incomplete pair of copper-alloy epilation forceps dating to the Roman period. The forceps possess a decorative head which is hexagonal in plan with a small, rectangular-lug extension. The head is separated from the arms by a beaded moulding flanked by reel mouldings. The arms are rectangular in section and plan and extend in parallel before widening to form wedge-shaped blades.
