A copper-alloy P-shaped brooch (Mackreth's proto Crossbow type 3.d) dating to the late second or early third century AD. The head comprises a cylindrical wing casing with pierced end plates. An incomplete pair of copper-alloy epilation forceps dating to the Roman period. The forceps possess a decorative head which is hexagonal in plan with a small, rectangular-lug extension. The head is separated from the arms by a beaded moulding flanked by reel mouldings. The arms are rectangular in section and plan and extend in parallel before widening to form wedge-shaped blades. Badly crumpled upper part of a medieval to post-medieval sheet copper alloy four-piece rumbler bell with an incomplete suspension loop. Diameter very approximately 25mm. Bells of this type appeared in the late 13th century (Egan and Pritchard 1991, 338) and continued into the 17th century (Egan 2005, 57).

Medieval sheet copper alloy square flat mount with a separate central rivet. Decoration comprises seven radial lines of repoussé dots. On the reverse a fragment of copper alloy sheet is transfixed by the rivet and there is no free length of rivet. The object, therefore, was fixed to lmetal and not to leather or textile. 20 x 19.1mm. Thickness 0.2mm. 14th century.
