Roman copper alloy bow brooch of Polden Hill type with flat wing ends, of 1st or 2nd century AD date.
The brooch is fragmentary represented by the head and the top of the bow only (with a surviving length of 20.5mm, a surviving depth of 11.7mm and a weight of 10.9g). The spring remains in place, secured between lateral lugs, which are angled inwards (with a width of 29.2mm). The chord is broken but is present, dislodged from its damaged lug on the head. Late Bronze Age socketed axe, probably of South Wales (Stogursey Type) and of Ewart Park metalworking industry, of Needham's (1996)[1] period 7, dated to c. 950 - 750BC
The axe is fragmentary, broken across both its width and length (with a maximum surviving length of 45.0mm, a maximum surviving thickness of 13.5mm and a weight of 53.1g). Stone button of uncertain date
The button is sub-circular in plan and pointed oval in section (with a diameter of 14.5mm - 16.0mm, a thickness of 5.5mm and a weight of 2.4g) and appears to be made of a fine-grained black shale. Both faces are convex and have been polished to achieve the form. One face has two small parallel holes (of c. 0.8mm diameter) drilled through, from just above the edges. The line of the channels has been crudely scored into the surface above each channel. No other decoration is evident. The surface is abraded chipped.

The suspension mount is complete but the harness pendant is missing (with an overall length of 25.9mm and a weight of 4.3g). The mount was attached using a single integral rivet at the rear.
