A cast lead weight or possibly spindle whorl. It is circular and has a slightly domed top and bottom and convex sides giving it an oval cross section. There is a oval hole runing through the centre and seven evenly spaced grooves running down the sides. It is 17.8mm in diameter, 8.8mm thick and weights 9.35g, the hole is 6.3 by 5.5mm across.
