Slightly distorted medieval copper alloy buckle frame, trapezoidal with a narrower inside edge and a pierced lug on both sides for a separate bar or spindle. The outside edge, which is recessed, to a very small degree, below the sides on the front face, is decorated with four longitudinal grooves. Large (distorted) medieval sheet copper alloy octofoil mount, flat but with a slightly domed centre and a centrally placed separate rivet. The front face is decorated with two concentric pairs of grooves, probably compass drawn. The outer pair is cut by the shaping of the foils. A single rivet-sized hole at the junction between two foils lies within a trapezoidal scar on the reverse with carries traces of silvery solder and some rust staining, and which extends from near the centre to the edge. An incomplete, Medieval, cast, copper alloy, composite strap-end, decorated forked spacer only. Both the tongue shaped plates are missing but there are remains of silver solder that once attached them. There is a slightly flattened acorn type collared terminal knop with inscribed cross-hatching on the cap section. One of the forks has been distorted probably by agriculatural machinery, The knop has an attractive dark green patina but the forks have a matt, corroded surface where the plates were attached.
