A fragment of a copper alloy Romano-British bracelet with a ring-and-dot design, probably 3rd or 4th century AD. The fragment is 'U' shaped, as though it has been re-used as a finger ring. The pattern is formed of a regular row of evenly spaced motifs, dots within raised circulare areas, along the outer surface. Each motif appears to have been created with a dot-in-circle punch. The bracelet is flat, c. 6mm wide and 0.84mm thick, and the fragment measures 14.44 x 12.53 mm in side view as bent. A fragment of a Roman copper alloy Aucissa brooch. The brooch is flattened and incomplete; this is a section of the bow. It is sub rectangular, tapering from the upper end (10.72mm wide) to the tip end (4.84mm wide). The upper end is decorated with two raised lines running across the width and beneath these a line of fine beading. Then, running at 90ยบ to the beading down the length of the bow, there is a central raised rectangular panel. A copper-alloy object which may be a small balance dating to the Roman period. The object possesses a flat, pear-shaped plate which has been bent back on itself to form a scoop. The underside of the plate is decorated with a series of diagonal grooves. The scoop is separated from the stem by two rectangular mouldings which form a collar. A incomplete copper alloy Roman trumpet brooch dating to the period c. AD 50 - 150. The head is semi-circular in shape and features an integral headloop with a circular aperture projecting from the top. The cylindrical wings extend from the reverse of the head and have a slot in the centre for the hinged pin. The iron axis bar is visible within the wings.
