Incomplete silver finger ring. Broken, the rear of the hoop missing, swelling smoothly from the narrow, oval-sectioned breaks through the shoulders to form the bezel which is undefined and undecorated except for a slightly flattened centre. The lack of diagnostic features makes dating difficult, but the form would be consistent with Roman finger rings, although a post-medieval date is also possible. Width of hoop 22mm.
