An incomplete and very worn cast copper-alloy buckle, probably a spur buckle, of Medieval date. It is missing the frame and pin due to old breaks. The inner edge of the surviving frame has an integral plate, with a central circular pin hole. The plate itself is D-shaped in section and triangular in form, tapering to a pointed triangular attachment end. At the centre of the attachment and frame ends are single central rivet holes with separately cast cylindrical copper-alloy rivets. Medieval copper alloy mount, comprising a cast stylised animal head with projecting lobes for ears, oblique incised cross-hatching on the forehead, twin slightly oblique engraved lines above the prominent brows, an upturned snout and a groove forming an open mouth. Hollow on reverse and with a central perforation containing the corroded remains of an iron rivet. Length 18mm, width 13mm, depth/thickness 6.5mm. Cf. other examples from Norfolk, from Watlington (NMS-151076) and Wendling (NMS-415400). 12th-13th century.

An incomplete copper-alloy rectangular double-looped buckle frame of Post-Medieval date. It is missing the pin.
It is flat with expanded triangular outer edges. The bar is narrowed, with a triangular section and D-shaped lobes at the junctions of the bar and frame. All external edges are bevelled.
This buckle frame measures 48.16mm in length, 25.22mm in width, 2.88mm in thickness, 9.46g in weight.
There is a similar example from Whitehead (Whitehead, 2003, p. 82, no. 512) and recorded on the PAS database (SF-94EC41), (SF-16FB87), (SF-F5E541).

An undatable (but probably medieval to post-medieval) lead spindle whorl or weight, hemi-spherical in shape with a central piercing. The piercing is narrower on the flat underside (7.87mm) and wider on the convex upper face (8.14mm). The surface is in a bad state of preservation and any decoration is now lost. The underside has a shallow groove encircling it.
Measures 21.81mm in diameter, stands 9.17mm in height and weighs 20.29g.

An incomplete medieval (1270-1350) copper alloy single-loop oval buckle frame of Meols Type 11, complete with pin but missing its 'roller', and possibly a buckle plate too.
The buckle frame measures 16.05x14.67mm (internal 10.82x10.58mm) and the length of the frame with the pin (the loop of which extends beyond the bar) is 16.63mm. It weighs 1.54g. The outside edge is offset with expanded cylindrical terminals flanking a recessed area for the missing roller. The axis bar is offset and narrowed.
The roller-end measures 11.03mm in length and c.3mm diameter in cross-section.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy bridle fitting or harness link of Early-Medieval date. One terminal and part of the shaft survive intact, the remainder of the object now missing due to old breaks. The surviving terminal is lozenge shaped in plan with a central oval perforation and projecting globular knops at each exterior corner. From the inner edge of the terminal extends a rectangular shaft that is D-shaped in section with flat back and rounded front face.
