A Post Medieval (c. 1500 to 1800) lead token: The design consists of a high-relief heralldic shield with cross hatching in the upper border and chevrons on the body of the shield. The reverse is decorated with the initial CR. The surface is a matte oxidised mottled light cream and grey colour. The tokens measure 27.3mm diameter, and weighs 7.7g. The heraldic design is a Powell Type 16 and the initials are Powell Type 2. A Roman brooch (AD c. 80-120): The copper alloy brooch is incomplete, the wings are semi-cylindrical, and have only traces remaining. At the upper edge of the wings and bow head there is a trace of an integral hook which would have held the chord in place. The axis bar, spring and pin are all missing. The bowhead is hump-like in profile and is undecorated. The bow is sub oval in section, and tapers to a broken edge. The surface of the brooch has and incomplete mid green patina.
