An Early-Medieval copper-alloy strap-end.
The strap-end is of flat section and is sub-rectangular, having outward bowing long sides. The now-missing strap would have been held in a slot between the two plates at the top, secured by the two rivets, which are located a short distance down from the scalloped top side. At this end, a crudely incised groove creates a sub-rectangular panel which encloses not only the rivets, but also, immediately below these, an incised saltire. Copper alloy equal armed brooch comprising of two opposing triangular plates that are joined by an arched bow. The brooch is decorated with recessed linear and ring designs depicting a bordered face-mask on each plate which are consistent with Style I. The decoration comprises of, on one plate, a cluster of three small rings in the centre with a double line below and a ring in each corner, while on the other plate are two rings with three lines below, and a ring in the tip. An unidentified copper-alloy artefact.
The artefact is of flattened-sub-spherical form, with three roughly circular apertures and an openwork design. The same design occupies both of the wider faces of the piece; it has an inverted-triangular aperture at the centre, from which radiate six ribs. Further ribs branch outwards from these six, creating a series of irregular openings, albeit arranged in a broadly symmetrical design. An Early-Medieval to Medieval copper-alloy stirrup-strap mount.
The mount has a sub-triangular plate, with outward-bowing sides and an apex loop. The surface design, moulded in high relief, takes the form of a quadruped, which stands to the right, his left foreleg raised, his head tilted backwards and mouth open. The tail loops underneath the body, curving upwards between the hindquarters and extending across the back, terminating adjacent to the ears, in a downward curve. An incomplete copper-alloy brooch of ansate (caterpillar) type of broadly middle Anglo-Saxon date. Only the terminal and part of the bow and double lug survive, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy bridle fitting or harness link of Early-Medieval date. One terminal and part of the shaft survive intact, the remainder of the object now missing due to old breaks. The surviving terminal is lozenge shaped in plan with a central oval perforation and projecting globular knops at each exterior corner. From the inner edge of the terminal extends a rectangular shaft that is D-shaped in section with flat back and rounded front face. Lead spindle whorl fragment. Cast whorl of cylindrical form with a moulded aperture of diameter c.8mm, Walton Rogers form B. The whorl had accumulated a thick white patina before being cut in half, probably with a knife and certainly forcefully; the cut surfaces bear only light patina. Suggested date: Early Medieval, 700-850.

Copper alloy harness mount consisting of a high raised central boss that is surrounded by four projecting roundels arranged evenly on a cross shape. Each roundel in pierced for attachment with a round off-centre drilled hole, the right side roundel is missing. The boss is decorated with a moulded human facemask consisting of oval eyes that are long, thin and angled . A broad rectangular nose that expands at the forehead sits in-between the eyes, below is a horizontal slot for the mouth. The rear of the boss is concave.
