An unpatinated flint oval scraper of later Prehistoric date. It is struck from a dark grey to black flint with small striking platform and prominent bulb of percussion. The dorsal face has parallel flake scars, with one small area of cortex or patination remaining, suggesting possible re-use of an earlier flake. All edges have short, abrupt and scaled retouch. It measures 46.47mm in length, 33.93mm in width, 8.97mm in thickness, and 13.10g in weight. This scraper is of later Prehistoric date, probably c.4000-800 BC.

A cast copper alloy Colchester one-piece Late Iron Age to early Roman brooch dating to AD 25-60. The wings are sub-rectangular in plan and trapezoidal in cross-section. The wings are undecorated. The undecorated bow extends from the wings tapering in width towards the complete foot which is rounded. The bow is oval in cross-section and is faceted. At the rear of the bow, transverse file and hammering marks are visible. A copper alloy Roman coin; a nummus of The House of Constantine, dating from AD 330 - 340 (Reece Period 17), CONSTANTINOPOLIS type depicting Victory on the prow of a ship. Mint of Lyon. The coin is 14.75mm diameter, 1.55mm thick and 1.41g. The coin has an odd raised rim and straight sides unlike the rounded edges usually seen on Roman coins. The flan is also a little small for the design; Victory's head is missing.

Incomplete Roman copper alloy Colchester Derivative Rearhook brooch, the spring, pin and all of the catchplate missing. The wings are plain apart from a single rib at the outer end. and there are two transverse grooves in front of the rearhook. The bow is sharply lozengiform in cross-section with a groove or offset down both edges. Mackreth 2011, CD RH 4. Length 42.2mm. Wingspan 26.4mm. c.43 - 65 AD.

A cast lead alloy head from a ball headed pin of probable late 16th or 17th century date. The head is decorated with a series of cast knop like projections arranged in four small crosses equally spaced around the head. The base of the pin has a circular indentation which has iron corrosion / staining. This is that remains of a socket that held an iron pin shank. The head is a mid-grey colour with an abraded pitted and corroded surface . Two (2) lead alloy shot / balls, of probable post medieval or early modern date (1600-1800 AD). Both are probably from a musket and are sub spherical in shape with an uneven surface. One ball has a large indentation - possibly suggesting that it has been fired / impacted onto something. Fragment from an copper alloy spur of probable later post medieval date (1550-1800). The fragment consists of the one arm broken before the terminal and the rowel box. The rowel is lost. The arm is D shaped in cross section and taper toward the break; which is old and patinated. The neck of the spur is formed at the mid point - in section it is oval. The terminal of the rowel box expands and is split by a horizontal cleft. There is no sign of decoration or applied surface. The upper face is relatively flat and has a single irregular pierced hole through the centre. The corroded remnants of an iron wire is present; this wire would have aided the use and also secured it for safekeeping / storage.
