An incomplete copper alloy strap fitting of medieval date. The fitting is an elongated ovate shape with two attachment spikes projecting from the reverse. Both spikes terminate in worn breaks and the fitting appears undecorated.
The metal has a mid greyish-green patina and is worn. The strap fitting is 21.1mm long, 8.3mm wide, 4.2mm thick and weighs 1.3g.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy strap fitting, perhaps a harness fitting, toggle or strap distributor, of Late Iron Age to Early Roman date. One terminal survives, the remainder of the object now missing due to old breaks. The terminal is globular in form, oval in cross section, and with a single incised groove around its base. Extending from the base of the terminal are the remains of two oval sectioned arms that are forked and terminate in old breaks just below the terminal. An incomplete and worn cast copper-alloy strap fitting, possibly a buckle plate, of Medieval date. It is rectangular in form, folded to form an upper and lower rectangular plate of equal size. Both plates have a curved attachment end that is incomplete due to old breaks and has a separately cast, single central copper-alloy rivet with flattened circular heads. A complete copper alloy strap loop belt mount of medieval date. The mount is trapezoidal in plan with an integral attachment rivet projecting centrally from the shorter edge. The mount is undecorated.
The metal has a dark reddish-brown patina and is worn. The mount is 14.3mm long, 12.9mm wide, 3.3mm thick and weighs 1.1g.
Similar mounts can be seen in Egan and Pritchard, p.232, fig.147.
