Retouched flint flake of possibly broadly Mesolithic/Neolithic date, ranging from 9000 BC - 2200 BC. The flint is a tertiary flake, light grey/white coloured and slightly patinated. It is sub-triangular in plan and sub-triangular in section. There is some soft hammer, short, sub-parallel, semi-abrupt retouch to the right side edge towards the pointed end. The flint is 12.9mm long x 6.8mm wide x 2.8mm thick. Weight .21g.

A flint microlith of late Mesolithic date, scalene triangle type, dating from about 6500 BC - 4000 BC. The flint is a tertiary flake, being opaque, patinated and cream in colour. It is sub-rectangular in plan and triangular in section. It was examined and identified by Jason Dodds who reports that some retouch is visible by microscope. It is 8.4mm long x 2.1mm wide x 1.7mm thick. Weight 0.03g.
