An incomplete struck flint object, possibly a fabricator, of later Prehistoric date. It is struck from a grey flint that has a slight blue/grey patination or staining, snapped at the distal end. The object is lozenge shaped in cross section with rounded, blunt end, and bifacially worked with covering semi-abrupt retouch. It measures 52.26mm in length, 22.38mm in width, 12.58mm in thickness, and 16.83g in weight. This is probably a fabricator rather than a chisel, although the latter cannot be ruled out entirely. A Mesolithic microlith / blade / bladelet (7,000 to 4,000 BC), grey in colour.
This piece is sub-rectilinear in plan and sub-rectilinear in section, tapering to a point at the distal end. The dorsal face comprises 3 main facets, whilst the ventral face is virtually featureless, save a faint bulb of percussion detectable when felt.
