Partly distorted post-medieval asymmetrical double-looped buckle frame. The form is close to that of Whitehead 2003 nos. 571-3. There is a groove around the convex edge and a pair of oblique grooves at its centre. On the other edge a straight transverse groove runs from one side to the other. The bar is narrow. Length 25mm. Width 17.7mm. c.1575 - c.1600.

Medieval copper alloy annular framed brooch with a cast pin (now distorted) set within a constriction. The frame is round-sectioned and undecorated. There is a tiny, low, square boss or grip next to the loop on the round-sectioned shank of the pin. External diameter 20.5mm. Internal diameter 16mm. 13th - 14th century.
