A worn medieval silver halfpenny of Edward IV dating to the period AD 1471 - 1483 (Second reign). Long cross pattee with D in centre. Three pellets in each quadrant. Mint of Durham. Rose initial mark. The coin has been folded over, obscuring approximately 1/3 of the reverse. Cf. North, p. 95, no. 1699.
