An incomplete fragment from a Bronze Age object, probably a spearhead or similar of later Bronze Age date. A small rectangular fragment survives preserving a central mid rib that is hollow at its centre, with flattened and tapering blades to either side. The blades are missing their cutting edges, and are separated from the mid rib by single longitudinal grooves. One face of the mid rib has multiple small oval shaped hammer marks, suggestive of deliberate breaking of the origial object in antiquity. An incomplete struck flint object, possibly a fabricator, of later Prehistoric date. It is struck from a grey flint that has a slight blue/grey patination or staining, snapped at the distal end. The object is lozenge shaped in cross section with rounded, blunt end, and bifacially worked with covering semi-abrupt retouch. An unpatinated flint object, probably a core of later Prehistoric date. It has a small bulb of percussion and striking platform visible on a flat ventral face. The dorsal face has extensive parallel flake scars running in at least two directions, and with possible limited semi-abrupt edge retouch along one side. It measures 52.86mm in length, 32.48mm in width, 22.71mm in thickness, and 36.70g in weight. This is possibly a core rejuvination flake and is likely to date to the later Prehistoric period, c.4000-800 BC.

Description: An incomplete silver gilt dress-hook of early post medieval date. The back plate is cast and circular in shape with deep U-shaped notches cut into its edges. The front face is decorated with an applied silver gilt border, which is shaped to resemble a chain, and within this is a separate six petalled flower, probably a rose, each petal is moulded with a raised triangular centre, the centre of the flower is a raised circular boss with traces of incised cross-hatching on it. It is roughly rectangular in form and triangular in section, tapering at one end while expanding at the other where it is open and flattened. All surfaces are pitted and have sooting or burning suggesting exposure to heat or fire. It measures 88.85mm in length, 33.52mm in width, 22.22mm in thickness, and 93.82g in weight. This is a large fragment of metal working debris that could be of any date from the Bronze Age onward.
