Incomplete medieval to post-medieval copper alloy purse bar, rectangular central boss (width 32mm, height 17mm, 8mm thick) with vertical perforation and worn semicircle on one side of base, between twin concave cut-outs, containing a swivelling bar at the base of squashed suspension-loop with thick circular rove at foot. The stumps of the integral bar project from both sides of the boss. Both faces of the rectangular boss have a deep bordering groove on both sides and a transverse groove at the top. Cf. Partly distorted post-medieval asymmetrical double-looped buckle frame. The form is close to that of Whitehead 2003 nos. 571-3. There is a groove around the convex edge and a pair of oblique grooves at its centre. On the other edge a straight transverse groove runs from one side to the other. The bar is narrow. Length 25mm. Width 17.7mm. c.1575 - c.1600.

Incomplete, worn and slightly distorted medieval copper alloy harness mount, a bar, slightly hollowed on the reverse, with a rivet hole between a double cusped moulding and a pointed terminal at one end, and a break beyond the start of an expansion at the other. A double transverse rib edges the cusps and there is another before the expansion. The front face was probably gilded. Extant length 80mm. Width 12mm, maximum width 17mm. 13th - 14th century.

Badly distorted Late Saxon copper alloy finger ring. The round-sectioned hoop tapers to pointed terminals which would have been overlapping. This type of ring was widespread in East Anglia, cf. SF-313804, and Goodall, A.R. in Rogerson and Dallas 1984, 69, fig. 110, nos. 17-22. Maximum diameter of cross-section 2.5mm. The original diameter of the whole cannot be estimated but the unwrapped length of hoop is c.60mm. c.900 - c.1066.
