Copper alloy Scabbard chape. Cast moulded and collared terminal and [now] triangular flattened sheet metal chape, probably from the sheath for a relatively broad bladed knife or sword. The sheet metal component had a butted seam, while a depression in the end of the terminal may suggest this was lathe finished. Now flattened. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1550-1650. Length: 55.1mm, Width (as found): 28.0mm, Thickness (sheet metal): 0.5mm, Diameter (terminal): 9.2mm, Weight: 10.80gms.

An incomplete, cast copper alloy sword belt fitting of the toggle clasp type dating from the post-Medieval period, AD 1500 - 1700. The remaining portion is one end of the female element of a two part clasp and consists of a rectangular frame with a circular suspension loop beneath the outer end, then a raised transverse ridge of hemispherical section and a small portion of a flat plate, the remainder of which has broken away and is missing. A cast copper alloy Roman harness pendant dating from the late second or third century, AD 150 - 300. It has a heart shaped upper body below which is an extension in the form of a trefoil, the lower lobe of which narrows and extends downwards, terminating in a spherical knop. In the centre of the upper edge of the upper body is a circular suspension loop at ninety degrees to the plane of the body. The loop is incomplete. A cast copper-alloy lug, probably from the handle of a chafing dish of Late Medieval or Early Post-Medieval date (AD 1400 - AD 1600). The lug is sub-oval in plan and rectangular in cross-section with rounded corners. It has a triangular collar at the attachment end, beyond which is the stub of a circular rivet which would have attached to the vessel wall.
