Medieval gilt copper alloy strap fitting, a two-way distributor or link consisting of three elements, a rectangular frame with two loops or strap ends folded around two opposed and recessed short sides. The loops are secured by an integral rivet which springs from the rear of the rectangular front part. The rear part is slightly narrower and is rounded at the attachment edge. Gilding remains only on the fold of the loops. Cf. a rather more elaborate example from Wiltshire (WILT-D61BF2). Frame 13.6 x 8.2mm. Loops 19 and 18.2 x 5.7mm. Overall length 42.5mm. 13th - 14th century.

Incomplete and badly distorted elaborate medieval gilt sheet copper alloy oval buckle plate, parts of the attachment edge of the front part missing (c. 13-14th century). The two parts have been bent almost straight. There are frame recesses, a pin slot, and three rivet holes (one inferred).The attachment edge appears to have been scalloped at the centre and to have had a trefoil projection in both corners. Incomplete, possibly Late Saxon or medieval copper alloy comb. The upper part is largely taken up with an elongated, probably oval aperture which is truncated by the break. At the intact end this part oversails the lower, and near the end a small triangular lug projects from the top. An offset runs long the full extant length and on both faces so that the upper part is thicker than the lower, the offset being much more pronounced on one face. Incomplete Late Saxon copper alloy finger ring, cast in the form of double-strand rounded-sectioned twisted rods, and tapering to both breaks. Finger ring of plaited rods, both real and casted to appear as such, are a Scandinavian type, as are larger types of ring, "Viking Period finger-rings are characteristically........smaller versions of standard types of arm-ring and neck-ring." (Graham-Campbell 1980, 65, cat. no. 238). See LVPL-CB0EBF and SF-16B905. External diameter 26.5 - 27mm. c.850 - c.1100.
