A Post Medieval lead alloy powder measure dating from c. AD 1600 to 1700. The powder measure is now squashed and mis-shapen, however it would have originally had a cup-like appearance, having a closed circular base with straight sides and being open at the top. Towards the base are two semi-circular attachment loops at opposite sides to each other. The powder measure would have been attached to a belt (bandolier) via a cord through these loops.

A Medieval copper alloy double loop asymmetrical buckle with one straight and one rounded end and an integral central bar. The front of the buckle is decorated with moulded circlets; the back is plain. The pin is missing. See Whitehead (2003) p92, number 580 for a similar example (with the exception of the knop). The buckle can be dated to c. AD 1575 - 1700.

A post-medieval clay pipe bowl fragment. The bowl is small and closes in slightly towards the open end and a rilling pattern is located just under the circumference of the pipe opening. The pipe stem has broken away and is missing. At the base of the pipe is a flat oval rest. The pipe has been dated to the early 1660's by Heather Coleman (pers. comm.). Diameter at opening:11mm.
