Copper alloy cosmetic mortar dating from the late Iron Age to early Roman periods (100 BC to AD 200). The mortar is formed of a curved bar with a 'V'-shaped cross section. From the apex of the curve, on the lower edge, projects a 'D'-shaped tab with an off-centre perforation. Cosmetic mortars such as this would have formed part of cosmetic sets, the now missing corresponding pestle allowing for the grinding of small amounts of cosmetic powders. A fragment of a copper alloy terminal from a rowel spur arm, dating to the Post Medieval period (16th to 17th Centuries AD). The fragment consists of a double looped terminal, each with a circular perforations (hole). A complete Post Medieval cast lead alloy uniface token, dating from c. AD 1550-c. 1800. Powell Type 6. The token has a raised design of a sailing ship to the obverse,the reverse being blank.There is a small section missing to the rim of the token. This token is grey with off-white corrosion products. Diameter: 16.83mm. Thickness 1.39mm Weight:2.2g. Lead tokens had a wide variety of potential uses such as tallies, gaming pieces, tickets, weights, etc. and are believed to have been locally produced; they are therefore difficult to date precisely.

Distorted and incomplete outer sheet plate from a copper alloy tongue-shaped strap end. The only rivet hole lies near the attachmment edge. Near the other end an opposed pair of rounded cut-outs on the sides lie above a broken projection, the terminal knop being missing. A deposit of solder covers the reverse apart from a length of 8mm next to the attachment edge. It is very likely that there was no spacer and that the object comprised two pieces of sheet. Length 47mm. Width 10.2mm. 14th century.

This is narrow at the bottom and expands and swells to form a flattened bezel which is set with an oval Intaglio, made from a stone? with a white body and an orange surface. Incomplete copper alloy Roman T-shaped brooch dating from AD 70-150. Tubular wings which hold the pin axis bar, there is a slot in the centre of the wings at the rear for the pin, the pin is missing. The wings are decorated with a beaded band/spindle/beaded band. The bow has a recessed line running down either side and a short line at the top of the head. The lower part of the bow is truncated resulting in the loss of the catchplate.

An incomplete cast lead mirror case of Roman date. Most of the front disc of the mirror survives, but it is missing any original back plate, glass, and any handle or means of attachment due to old breaks. The disc is circular in form with a central circular aperture measuring 12.70mm in maximum diameter. A complete copper alloy buckle of early-medieval date. The buckle is D-shaped in plan and circular in section with a narrowed and recessed strap bar. The outer edge of the frame is wide and decorated with parallel curved incisions giving a twisted rope-like effect and the pin no longer remains. Where the frame meets the strap bar it terminates in zoomorphic knops which are most probably crude representations of animal heads confronting across the bar.
