A complete Post Medieval cast lead alloy uniface token, dating from c. AD 1550-c. 1800. Powell Type 6. The token has a raised design of a sailing ship to the obverse,the reverse being blank.There is a small section missing to the rim of the token. This token is grey with off-white corrosion products.
Diameter: 16.83mm. Thickness 1.39mm Weight:2.2g.
Lead tokens had a wide variety of potential uses such as tallies, gaming pieces, tickets, weights, etc. and are believed to have been locally produced; they are therefore difficult to date precisely.

A worn seventeenth century farthing trade token issued for a yarn (wool) shop at Postern Gate, Cripplegate, London between AD 1648-1672. Williamson (London) no. 2261. The initials of the issuer is possibly D C.

An irregular and poorly preserved cast lead alloy token or possibly a weight of later medieval or post-medieval date (1200-1800). The token is broadly circular in plan. The upper face is poorly preserved but seems to be ddecorated by two initials T (or possibly I / J) and G positioned on either edge. The overall design can be compared to of Powell's type 20 - possibly designed to represent merchant marks and monograms. The reverse face is flat and undecorated. The token is a cream-grey colour with an eroded surface patina.

A cast lead alloy token of later medieval or post-medieval date (1200-1800). The token is circular in plan. The upper face is decorated with a cast design comprising a vertical cross contained within a circle both cast in low relief; within each quarter of the cross is a single pellet positioned unevenly. The overall design can be compared to of Powell's type 14b - possibly designed to simulate medieval coinage. The reverse face is flat and undecorated. The token is a cream-grey colour with an eroded surface patina.
The token measures 23.4mm diameter, is 2.3mm thick and weighs 5.0 grams

A complete lead or lead alloy unifaced token of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1800).
The token is sub circular in shape. The obverse depicts a voided long cross with a raised triangular area in each quarter (Powell type 14). The reverse is undecorated. A slight casting ridge is present around the base of the token.
The token has a diameter of 23 mm and is 3.5 mm thick. It weighs 10.2 g.
