A fragment of a copper-alloy double-loop trapezoidal buckle frame of post-medieval date, c. 1620-1680. The fragment consists of a single solid triangular pointed outer edge, with a truncated edge at one end, and a complete loop edge on the other. Following this latter is a lobed protrusion at the end of the pin bar; the edge of the other loop is vestigial beyond. Only half of the pin bar remains further to the lobed protrusion; the pin, naturally, is missing. The reverse is flat, while the front has bevelling both internally and externally. A complete post-Medieval to Modern cast lead or lead alloy circular double-sided token (c. 1500-c. 1850). Powell Type 2/7. The token has raised designs: Initial letters R R on one side and possibly hatching or grid design on the other. The surfaces are coarse and buff. Diameter: 18.6mm. Weight: 5.79g. Lead tokens had a wide variety of potential uses such as tallies, gaming pieces, tickets, weights, etc. and are believed to have been locally produced; they are therefore difficult to date precisely. An almost complete, worn, slightly damaged and misshapen post-Medieval sheet silver closed thimble (c. 1600-c. 1700). Treasure case no. 2014 T773. The upper half of the walls has horizontal circumferential lines of regularly spaced circular indentations. A post medieval cast copper alloy possible vessel handle from a vessel such as a skilet or posnet. The handle is U-shaped in section and has been decorated with cast double bands of chevrons with a line of pellets between. The forked end, however, has a diagonal facet which occupies almost the whole width of the object and the function of which is unclear.
