A possible contemporary copy of late Roman copper alloy nummus. The obverse depicts a helmeted bust left, probably representing the personification of Constantinople or Rome as seen on the CONSTANTINOPOLIS and VRBS ROMA coins of the fourth century. The reverse is unclear, but perhaps depicts Victory left. A blundered mint mark including perhaps a pellet at the start, and perhaps followed by C[ ]S is visible below.
