A worn and slightly clipped medieval silver penny of Edward III (1327-77); pre-Treaty period (1351-61), series F/G mule (1356-61). Minted in London. North 1176/1205.
Obverse: forward facing crowned bust. EDWA[R]DVS.REX.ANGLI, initial mark: crown; annulet stops.
Reverse: long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets per quarter, a single annulet is present at the centre of the pellets in the first (CIVI) quarters. CIVI/TAS/LON/DON.
Die axis was not noted, weight: 1.08g, diameter: 17.5mm, thickness: 0.5mm.
