A copper-alloy frame from a medieval single-loop buckle, circa 1350-1400. The frame is sub-hexagonal in plan, has a narrower axis bar and an incised pin rest.The inner edges are bevelled, whereas the outer edges are rough, indicating that this is an unfinished piece. The attachment plate and pin are missing. Length of frame: 13.75 mm. Width: 17.42 mm. Thickness: 1.85 mm. Weight: 1.316 grams. Reference: Ross, Whitehead. Buckles 1250-1800. Page 9 and 27.

A complete Cast unifaced circular lead alloy token. The token is decorated on the obverse side with the initials in capitals SC with a pellet between. The reverse is blank. The token is 13.78 mm in diameter, 2.18 mm thick and weighs 2.0 grams. Lead tokens with simple designs are very easy to make and continued in use for a long period; those with initials are generally thought to date to the post medieval period. (1550-1800 AD).

Incomplete medieval copper alloy buckle: oval frame with an offset, narrowed bar and a sheet roller around the straight outside edge which protrudes slightly at the sides; rolled sheet pin; fragmentary front part of the sheet plate with a pin hole and frame recesses. Very similar to Egan and Pritchard 1991, no. 315. Frame length and width 16 and 21mm. Plate width 14mm. 13th - 14th century.
