Copper alloy button. Flat discoid button, probably stamped, with drawn wire loop on the back. The front bears a device of a central bar with expanded middle and fleur de lis ends, with four arcs intersecting it, two at each end, and with further features to the left and right edges. Indistinct maker's details, possibly including a cushion crown motif, appear on the back. Robustly cleaned by the finder. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1800-1900. Diameter: 16.1mm, Thickness (clear of loop): 0.8mm, Weight: 1.28gms.

Medieval copper-alloy buckle frame, circular internally and with the bar straight externally. The outer edge has a slight point at the grooved pin rest. This is of Meols Type 3 (Griffiths et al 2007, 84-86), a very simple shape with surprisingly few well-dated examples known, but probably in use from the 13th to the 15th centuries.

There are traces of sooting on the worn surfaces. There is no extant aperture. The diameter cannot be accurately estimated. Extant height 20mm. A possibly silver Post Medieval Scottish coin; a crude contemporary copy of a Twenty Pence of Charles I, third coinage, dating from AD 1637 - 1642. The coin is a pale gold colour (a brassy silver?) with a green tinge. The edge is cracked in two places. The design is crudely drawn and the lettering is blundered. It is 14.93mm diameter, 0.53mm thick, 0.51g. Compare number 5581 - 5591 of Coins of Scotland, Ireland and the Islands. A similar, but different copy is LEIC-D4B3A2

A gold finger ring with intaglio setting surviving of mid.19th century AD date. This finger-ring survives in excellent condition. Disclaimed as not treasure. Further identification given by Judy Rudoe of the British Museum. "...it has the papal keys on the bottom of the hoop and probably dates to the middle decades of the 19th.
