A 'Hampshire Thunderbolt' gold quarter stater of the Belgae dating to the period c 65-40 BC. The coin depicts a stylised boat possibly with two standing figures and on the reverse a cruciform thunderbolt motif together with various objects in angles. Cf Rudd, C, 2010, Ancient British Coins, Chris Rudd Aylsham 2010, p 58 ABC 767.
