A clipped medieval silver penny of Henry V (1413-1422). Class G (North 1404) dating to 1413-1422. Mint of York. North (1975, 58). The coin measures 16.6mm in diameter, 0.59mm in thickness and weighs 0.869g. The coin is worn and has a circumferential crease at 5 o'clock on the obverse. A V-shaped nick above the crease suggested this coin might have been checked.

A complete cast copper alloy late Medieval (c. 14th-16th century) shoulder bolster from a whittle-tang knife. The trapezoidal object is sub-ovoid in section. On one side is a slot to accommodate the blade and on the other is a rectangular hole for the tang. The shoulder bolster measures 15.66 mm in length, 15.55 mm width and thickness 10.96 mm. Its weight is 8.91 grams. The condition is good with an even, light green patina and calcified concretions in places. Post Medieval (probably c. 1500 to c. 1800) vessel or box foot: The copper alloy foot is in the form of a paw with four toes and claws. The ankle is narrowed and is crescentic in section. Above the ankle the leg is a flat platform with a central circular indention which may be part of the fixing point onto the vessel.
