Proximal end of a thin knapped flint blade with a large, deliberate notch, probably a precursor to being snapped to form a microlith of Mesolithic date, 9000-4000 BC. The piece has a very small bulb of percussion on the ventral face and two parallel aris running down the length of the dorsal face from previous parallel removals. Knapped doubled ended scraper made of a secondary flint flake. It is broadly trapezoid in plan with straight sides and convex ends, one wider than the other. The bulb of percussion has been removed through retouch although the ripples suggest it was at the narrower end. The aris and ripples on the dorsal face suggest some previous smaller, parallel removals form the same platform as well as larger, hard hammer removals from different directions at the other end. Knapped flint leaf shaped arrowhead, dating from the Early Neolithic to Early Bronze Age (4000-1000 BC). Both faces are completely covered by covering, scaled, low angled retouch done by pressure flaking. The arrowhead is broadly leaf shaped (lancolate) with a wider, round base. The widest point is about a third of the way up from the base. The point is slightly angled, possibly due to damage. The arrowhead is a tertiary piece with no cortex left. The flint is a translucent pale grey. the arrowhead is 26.3mm long, 15.6mm wide and 4.4mm thick; it weighs 1.72 grams.
