A fragment of a copper alloy Roman finger ring, probably dating from AD 100 - 200. The remaining portion consists of the shoulders and bezel; the hoop has broken away and is missing. The breaks are not completely patinated. The shoulders are plain and the bezel is flat and oval, slightly concave, and containing traces of an opaque red substance. In the centre of the recess is a slightly raised annulet of copper alloy. Within the annulet is a hole, probably an intentional piercing, through the bezel. A copper alloy Roman trumpet brooch dating from AD 75 - 175. The head is a plain, slightly flattened trumpet bell. Behind is an integral loop to hold the pin mechanism and spring. The spring, pin, and axis bar are all missing. The upper bow is plain until the double collar above the acanthus button. This projects all round the bar, but extends further at the front than at the back. The button is discoidal and has three layers of petals. Flint borer of possible Mesolithic date ranging from 9000 BC - 4000 BC. The flint is a tertiary flake, light grey coloured and is patinated. The original driection of striking is difficult to determine. Described as it is photographed, it is sub-triangular in plan and sub-trapezoid in section. There is short, sub-parallel, semi-abrupt, soft hammer retouch to the upper edge of the right hand side towards the pointed distal end, carried out from the ventral side of the flint. The token is sub circular in shape. The obverse is divided into quarters by raised lines with a pellet in each angle (Powell type 14b; cross imitating a Medieval penny) and the reverse also has a design, though its interpretation is less clear. Burnt flint flake of unknown date. The flint is a secondary flake with cortex surviving on the left dorsal face. It is extensively fire crackled and white in colour, sub-rectangular in plan and triangular in section. There is possible evidence of flake removal prior to the burning on the upper right side of the dorsal face. There is no other evidence of retouch. The flint is 49mm long x 31.6mm wide x 19.7mm thick. Weight 27.4g.

A cast copper alloy fragment of an Early Medieval brooch, probably a cruciform type, but possibly a small-long brooch (without the foot it is impossible to tell). It dates from AD 400 - 600. Only the lower part of the bow and the flat panel at the top of the foot survive. A cast copper alloy side looped and socketed spearhead of Middle Bronze Age date, about 1550 - 1250 BC; Davis Group 6, 'developed side looped. The tip and edges of the blade are missing. The breaks are patinated and worn. The spearhead is broadly sub-triangular in plan and profile with an incomplete and abraded probably leaf-shaped blade.
