Medieval gilt copper alloy horse harness suspension mount, T-shaped, bent horizontal bar with broken twin suspension-loops projecting from the centre of the lower edge. The triangular-sectioned horizontal bar has a transverse rib at both pierced rounded terminals with an elongated lobe. Both ends are perforated and one retains a dome-headed copper alloy rivet. Length (unbent) 55mm. Height 13mm. 13th-14th century.

A complete lead or lead alloy unifaced token of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1800). The token is sub circular in shape and slightly bent. The obverse depicts a probable tree, with a central vertical ridge. Two small diagonal lines are present at the base and six (three to either side) are present at the top (Powell type 17). The reverse exhibits a folded rim. The token has a diameter of 19.7 mm and is 4.2 mm thick. It weighs 9.9 g.

An incomplete copper-alloy Roman bow brooch, probably of Colchester derivative type. Only the foot of the bow and catch plate survive, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn. The bow is rectangular in section. The front face is decorated with a central longitudinal rib. At the base of the bow is an integrally cast catch plate that is triangular in form with sub-oval openwork decoration and a rectangular pin groove. This brooch measures 33.91mm in length, 6.29mm in width, 3.31mm in thickness, 5.43g in weight. There is a similar example from Suffolk …

A copper alloy large and chunky finger ring of probable Roman date, about AD 43 - 410. The hoop is a rounded D-shape in section, flaring to form a wide bezel which is flattened. From the centre of the bezel projects an oval, faceted pseudo gem which is integrally cast in copper alloy. The metal has a back patina, which is dark green where it is chipped. The finger ring is 29mm in diameter (17.9mm internal diameter), 12.1mm transversely across the bezel, and the hoop is 6.6mm thick at the bezel, and 4mm thick at the narrowest point.16.17g.
