An Iron Age copper alloy unit, probably of Tasciovanus (20-9 BC), dating 15-10 BC. The obverse is very worn so difficult to discern what it would have depicted. The closest parallel is on a silver stater in Hobbs (1996, no. 1654), though the horse is facing in the opposite direction. Dimensions: diameter: 14.82 mm; weight: 1.46g. Reference: Hobbs, R. 1996. Object type: FINGER RING
Broad period: IRON AGE
County: North Lincolnshire
Workflow stage: Published Find published
A probable copper alloy spiral finger ring of late Iron Age to early Roman date, about 200 BC to AD 200. The object is 14.5mm tall, 22.5mm in diameter and 14.75g. A similar example from Camerton, Some…
