Three cast copper alloy rivets, still attached to a small piece of thick leather, probably dating from the late post-medieval or modern period, that is c. 1600-1900. The rivets have domed heads and short square-sectioned shafts. They hold two thick pieces of leather together; the rivets are now bent. It is impossible to say what kind of artefact the leather came from, but possibly horse trappings or a belt.

Cast copper alloy unidentified object, possibly one half of a bulbous circular saddle pommel cover of post-medieval or early modern date, that is c. AD1600-1800. The object is hollow-cast, the inside being plain and concave while the outside is convex and decorated with a moulded decoration. There are no obvious rivet holes or attachment loops, but saddle pommels normally have a smooth outer edge with an extra strip (which was part of the original casting) that held the rivets/showed rivet holes.
