An incomplete copper alloy probable harness fitting or ring, of Late Iron Age or Early Roman dating (300 BC to 100 AD).
The probable ring is a crescentic shape in plan which tapers in width and depth towards the broken and abraded terminals. These breaks, if that is what they are, do not appear to be recent. The ring is oval in section and is at its thickest at the apex.
The ring measures 20.2 mm from the apex to the terminals, 23.0 mm wide, 7.7 mm thick. It weighs 8.3 g.
The ring is a mid brown colour, with an even surface patina.

Medieval enamelled copper alloy harness pendant of 13th or 14th century date
The shield-shaped pendant is corroded but is near-complete (with an overall length of 36.4mm and a weight of 6.7g). The pendant was hinged to a missing suspension mount by the loop at the apex (10.5mm high, 6.9mm deep and 1.9mm - 4.0mm thick) with a circular perforation containing the remnants of the iron hinge-pin. A complete copper alloy enamelled heraldic horse harness stud, of medieval dating (AD 1200 to AD 1400).
The harness stud is an elaborate quatrefoil shape. The front has been enamelled, Four lobes contain a debased fleur-de-lis, with red enamel surrounding the design. A central square is present, containing blue enamel, with a four legged animal in the centre. The reverse is plain and undecorated. A circular sectioned attachment shank extends from the centre of the reverse. It has a diameter of 6.7 mm.

An incomplete lead alloy flat seal matrix, of Late Medieval dating (c. AD 1250 - c. AD 1350).
The seal matrix has a circular die, with a sub circular tab handle. The handle has a rectangular cross section. The casting of the handle as a ridge, acts as an orientation device to ensure that the seal matrix is placed the right way up in the wax.
The die depicts a seven pointed star, with a plain engraved border between it and the inscription. The legend can be read but may be illegible in nature. Legible letters include S[ ]hON X. The inscription starts with a plain cross.

A complete vesica or pointed oval lead or lead alloy seal matrix, of Medieval dating (AD 1300 to AD 1400).
The reverse has a tab handle. Decoration on the reverse is hard to determine as the seal matrix has been cancelled by being folded in half. The front has a plain cross as the central device, with an inscription around the outside.Crescent abbreviation marks are present. The initial mark is a cross pattee.
